For many years now, Dempsey Tree Works have been offering specialist arboricultural services, since being started by Rob Dempsey. Operating out of Ryedale, we serve North Yorkshire and the surrounding areas offering expert tree specialist advice and services.
With years of experience, our team are highly qualified and knowledgeable when it comes to dealing with trees. Felling, pruning, dismantling, or just general clean up – we do it all.
We use the best tools for the job and operate in a safe manner. We don’t take risks, and neither should you. If that tree needs felling, get it done right and give us a call!

Meet Rob
Hi! Im Rob Dempsey, the owner of Dempsey Tree Works.
I started the business after many years working in the arboricultural industry. Whilst I did all of my training and certification in the UK I actually started my tree climbing career in France with my uncle who has a tree company in the south where did much of my learning, I then traveled to Australia working in many parts of the country to hone my skills in larger and more technical tree removals.
I am now happy to be at home in Ryedale providing high quality and friendly tree care in the area able to take on anything from small hedge trimming to large scale removals.
Outside of tree work I like to play rugby, spend time with friends and family, eat good food and drink good beer!
